OutcomesBy the end of the workshop participants will know how to:
MethodsVarious assertiveness techniques are imparted via a presentation and group exercises. Then, having been given a scenario, each delegate will enter into a role-play situation in which they will talk to a constituent or council officer about an issue they’re unhappy with, or they’ll be paid a surprise visit by an irate ward member. The colleague / constituent / officer is played by an actor.
